What You Need To Know About FS Green:
This week we are throwing back with this trap master’s soulful tune, Goolie Goolie – FS Green. This release is a perfect example of a booming trap music monster of a track, complete with a possessed-sounding child chanting and all – this one will invade your brain, and don’t be surprised if you find it on repeat as you are trying to chose another song to jam to.
FS Green’s stylistic characteristics range anywhere from smooth hip hop tunes to club beats. The one defining feature of Green’s music is that they all seem to have this enticing, sexy vibe that will make anyone want to bump and grind. His versatility is not surprising, though. He’s had a long and committed relationship to music, beginning his aspirations at an extremely young age.
FS Green is a producer and DJ from Amsterdam who started making beats at the age of 15. What initially started off as a bit of fun has now turned into a successful career. From supplying some of Holland’s most well known Hip Hop artists with his infectious soulful production, as well as an agenda jam packed with residencies and DJ gigs in various spaces and places, FS Green is now very much at the forefront of the Dutch music scene. His accomplishments have been acknowledged with multiple awards for Best Producer, as well as Best DJ. FS Green is firmly forging a cult following in Amsterdam and across the globe.
FS Green first grabbed my attention as an artist with his tune, Moombahphone Ft. MocroManiac; a catchy unique moombahton beat accompanying a melody using a phone keypad. The track was nothing that I had ever heard before, and literally blew my mind as it was undeniably catchy as well as a one of a kind track that proves artists can still think outside of the box within a genre. I was enamored with his ability to not only grab but also hold my complete attention as he took me on a trap journey of musical enlightenment. FS Green is a perfect example of talent that has taken on the challenge of redefining electronic music and through this has embraced personal artistic expansion.
I can’t wait to see what he has in store for his fans over the next couple of months. I hope this track challenges your thinking and expands your musical preferences. Happy listening, my friends!
