More goodness from KAYTRANADA’s studio

Feel like the only thing missing from the electronic music scene is gansta rap? Montreal producer KAYTRANADA is here to give fans their fix of real trapping. His new collaboration with Indiana gangster rapper Freddie Gibbs, “My Dope House,” is sure to appeal to electronic music fans as well as hip-hop heads. KAYTRANADA, whose array of production includes beats for Vic Mensa, remixes of AlunaGeorge songs, his own trap originals and more, produces a simple yet smooth beat for this new song, enabling Gibbs’ thug-focused lyrics to flow effortlessly. Gibbs’ sing-song hook synchronizes with the beat, creating a sound that defies the boundaries of electronic and rap. Not sure that the two can pull it off? Give it a listen right here and decide for yourself.
