I will never forget that moment.

At an early age I did not really listen to music, as the years have passed, I listened to only three bands, Coldplay, Linkin Park, and The Killers.

In 2007 I walked down my hallway, and I heard my brother blasting music in his room, my curiosity told me to go inside the his room, so I did.

I will never forget that moment.

I asked my brother “what music was that?” and he told me it was Trance.

And I asked him about it, I asked him “what was Trance?” and he told me it was electronic music.

I asked him “who made that song?” he was playing, he told me it was an album.

He had the In Search of Sunrise 6 album playing and I could not believe how incredible the music was. That was the first time I came in contact with electronic music.

From there I asked him more about who else plays Trance and he threw all these names at me: Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, and so on. I’ve loved electronic music since that day.

I am not old enough yet to go to such venues (1 year away!) I can’t wait to go see trance artists. I really love both sides of electronic music, the underground and the mainstream music, sometimes I’d like to rage my head off to electro house, progressive house but most of the time I want to dance to Techno, Minimal, and Tech House. My girlfriend does not have contact with the so-called EDM world but I want to take her to a trance show first so she can really feel the emotions.

Trance music is something just out of this world.

Trance is true.
